Terms of use
Last updated: 14 October 2026
The deal. Stonele is a free game made by Malachy Saeedi (“I”). By playing, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t play.
Free and as is. The game is provided “as is” and “as available”. I may change, pause or end the game, or any puzzle, at any time. I don’t promise it will be error-free or always available, or that your streak or progress will be kept: it lives in your browser and can be lost.
Fair play. Don’t send automated or fake results, overload, probe or attack the site or its server, get around rate limits or bot checks, or use the game for anything illegal. I may block traffic that does these things and remove results I believe are fake.
Your feedback. If you send ideas or word suggestions, I may use them freely, without payment or credit.
Ownership and reuse. The game’s name, design, code and puzzle selection are © 2026 Stonele. All rights reserved, except as follows. The word data files listed on the Credits page are adapted from ConceptNet and other sources and are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0: you may reuse them under that license, and nothing in these terms limits what it allows. Fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Liability. As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and my total liability to you for anything connected with the game is limited to US$50. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy. See the Privacy policy.
Changes. I may update these terms and will change the date above when I do. Continuing to play after an update means you accept it.
Your local law. If you’re a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep the protection of your own country’s mandatory laws and can bring claims in your local courts.
